Turns out, grandmothers do curse, and I’m their prime recipient
This happened to an old guy at work one time. He kept getting mad because there weren’t enough bubbles. The fact that it was a whirlpool tub didn’t help the amount.

I’ve gotten human feces all over me, scars on my arms, punched, kicked, but I still usually do everything with a smile. Just because I’m having a bad day doesn’t mean I need to make the patients day worse too by being in a bad mood.

My family gets furious at this. I can’t help it. Stories from work usually always involve body functions.
It scares me when I try to wake someone up and they don’t respond immediately, or I can’t see their chest moving because they have blankets on. I haven’t found anyone yet, but I know I will.

When It’s Time To Clock Out At The End Of Shift
Combative elderly
If you haven’t been bitten, spit on, swatted at or had your hair pulled you aren’t really trying.
Haha it actually is like this.
My coworkers drive my absolutely insane. I work so hard while they just take their good old time to get their residents cleaned up and dress. I’m out answering call all their call lights and still trying to do my people. During the busiest part of the night, about 25 call lights went off. I answered 24 of them. AND I still got all my people ready on time. The others just sat at the nurses desk, not doing shit. I’m getting tired of it. And I know that if I don’t answer call lights, I’ll get in trouble. Ridiculous.
